WOYWW

I think someone must have taken a couple of days from this last week, as it certainly doesn't feel like there have been seven days since last Wednesday!
This muddle of things on my desk this morning is just as it was when I went downstairs to prepare dinner last night. I had started to prepare the bits and bobs for a card for a challenge... I think it's for 'Card and Things', but I'd have to look to be sure.
As you can see I use the 'scrape to the sides' method of keeping my glass mat clear...usually managing to work on just about a quarter of it.
I must have a tidy up, Mandi, my partner in "Less is More" will be coming to the mainland on Friday and she is uber tidy! At the moment she wouldn't even be able to get her toe in my craftroom...so today's the day for a tidy up!
Pop over to Julia's... she has connections... and see the workdesks of the world!

  9. It is a shame us and family have to eat - think of all the craft time lost in our kitchens, still it does give glue and paint time to dry I suppose...

  27. Your desk is always interesting Chrissie, but the problem with visiting you is that I always end up with a shopping list. On my ‘wanted’ list this week are those gorgeous stamps.

    Happy Crafting.

  28. Hello Chrissie, well, I know that you've completed the card because I've peeked already so how's the clean-up going? It doesn't look so bad from here, perhaps a few things to clear away, but nothing major, and you'll be ready to enjoy Mandi's visit. Elizabeth x #114

  29. Looking busy - do it your way - I am mega messy during the process and need a broom to side sweep when I'm in mid flow. But afterwards I always clean it all up and wipe every stamp. So it evens out. Have fun Friday and take a mo to bask in the fab success of LIM!!!

  32. I can see your desk doesn't always echo your beautiful CAS cards does it!!!! Love the images, have fun with Mandi, and if she has any spare stamp sets I'll take them this time, think you got enough last time you saw her!!!

  34. If time was dragging Chrissie, you'd be less than a happy bunny - remember your teaching days - did we ever have time to notice the passing of time? I'm sure you'll enjoy your tidy space, for a while...Shirl #106

  35. The cards look beautiful. Yes, I also sometimes just scrape everything to the side just to have a little bit of space to work - but it doesn't really make me happy!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Scrape to the sides is my modus operandi but occasionally just scoot it all to the top! I heard Tim Holtz remark that he has to have a 12x12 in spot to craft in...I think we all have limits...:-)

  43. wow Chrissie - its always good to have an excuse (or an incentive) to tidy up - but when that incentive is Mandi - wow, reason indeed.

I hope that by now, you had a great time and your craft room is back to its usual 'busy' looking self
