Pretty Pink

This shade of DP from Pink Petticoat is called Pretty Pink, so I think it's a good choice for this challenge from Penny Black. The image is called 'Duhlbergs'. I had to look that up to see what it meant, and all I got was that it was a stamp from Penny Black (I knew that anyway) so I'm no nearer knowing where the name came from.
It's pretty anyway! I coloured the heads with Papermania ink and the stems with a Marvy pen.
The sentiment is also from Penny Black.

  1. This is gorgeous! I keep a list of current challenge blogs, so when I was updating the One Stop Crafts challenge and saw you'd started a new one, I came to investigate, but I thought I should let you know that the link to the blog in your proffile goes to a non-existant page. Not a biggie, it's just one of those things that you tend not to realise because you don't need to use the link ;)

  2. I'm sorry, I should have been clearer, I'm still on my first coffee pf the day. It isn't in your profile, it's in the About Me section just to the right, and it's the link to the Less is More blog that's not right. Sorry for the confusion!

  3. This is lovely! (I looked it up too.... I got a court case involving a child kidnap and the family's (Israeli) surname was Duhlberg - so I'm none the wiser either!)

  6. gorgeous card Chrissie ,,, I went on a hunt for the name too and found nothing except surnames ,,, maybe it is the surname of the designer ?? the stamp is gorgeous and the paper is perfect too ,,,

have taken you up on the challenge ,,, you're a hard taskmaster lol :-) ,,, juat waiting for the stickles to dry ,,,, not very keen on this attempt but you are right that the sentiment is too dominant the 1st one :-) thanks for the constructive criticism ,, I REALLY appreciate it :-)
