One Layer Christmas card

Here is another one layer card and I must admit that I am getting braver at stamping directly onto the card. For this I used a couple of the things I bought at the NEC, where I went yesterday with Val, who is a teamie on the DT at One Stop Cards and Crafts and Anne who is a teamie at Cooking it up with Katie.
We had a great day and I really enjoyed myself. It was great to meet friends I feel I know, for the first time.
I used one of  my new Nesties deckled rectangles to make a mask for the front of the card and punched some snowflakes out of paper which I gently attached to the card with a tiny amount of  glue runner adhesive. I then stippled the surface of the card with two shades of Stampin' Up ink, using a sponge.
I was quite pleased with the effect when the mask and the snowflakes punchies were removed.
The sentiment, also a purchase yesterday, was stamped in the darker shade of blue.
So this is my One Layer Wednesday 27 card.
