Good Morning WOYWWers!
Did you miss me last week?
I was having a few days break in Jersey and very pleasant it was too!
Here you can see my new ink-pad rack which arrived today. I'd got fed up with having a cascade of boxes falling down all over me whenever I tried to reach for an inkpad. This was in an enormous package, the sender obviously didn't want it damaged in transit.
This week I have done a little re-organisation in my craft room and got rid of a bunch of junk. (Mainly belonging to my son). The space I gained in the cupboard has been filled with my plastic drawers and I also got a hanging shoe rack to put some other odds and ends in beside them.
This has allowed me to move the small unit which was behind me on which I had my trimmers and which held boxes of paper and card, into the space vacated by the plastic drawers, giving me a little more room to move about! You can also see my new comfy chair, which I swapped in Staples when the old one started to split.
It's going to be much easier to get at the paper now, but I have to actually get off my backside to get it...either that or shimmy across in my whizzy chair!

The ink rack is fantastic. You know that you'll need to buy some more ink now...that's the law! Once you fill up a rack, you get some more stash!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw your name, I thought I missed you last week. The first thing I read made me realize I had. I hope that ink storage works well for you. It looks a bit cumbersome to me. That's the beauty of storage, though. If it works for YOU, it works great.

ReplyDeleteI find those ink storage racks brilliant to - although currently I have stacked stuff all round the bottom so I have to do a bit of excavating to get to some of the inks ;)

You did well with your rearranging - I am in the process of doing that too! I started yesterday when I came home with all the stash from Ally Pally and needed space for it! Huh!!!!

ReplyDeleteAnyone would think it was spring the way people are sorting stuff! Whizzy chair huh! I deliberately got myself a wheel less stool so as to make me get up now and then....didn't work..now I just get it out and never put it away!!

ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great place to work. I don't think I could resist using the whizzy chair; I try with mine, but it normally runs over something I have filed on the floor. Like your space for the trimmers.
