Senior Moments thick and fast

My excuse is that I haven't been too well this week, but this is the second time that I have failed to post a DT card on the appropriate day! Dear me, senior moments and all that!
This is my DT card from Cooking it Up with Katie, (which was posted on that blog in plenty of time). We were generously given an image from Fairy Knoll (this week's sponsor) to use in our recipe of Buttons, Bows and Blue.
I used Cuddly Buddly downloaded paper... regular visitors to my blog may have noticed that I am quite partial to using single colours and toning papers on my cards, and this is no exception.
One little tip I picked up along the way is to use dental floss to attach buttons onto projects and to colour it with alcohol pens, so as to match perfectly with the card. Neat huh!
It's for a few other challenges
Digital Tuesday - Happy Birthday
Everybody art - Blue and White
I ought to be more organised!

  10. Sorry to hear you've not been well and hope you are much better now, you asked about the Rock A Blocks on my desk, I love mine and have the big set and the smaller set. My nine year old has been using with me for about two years now and even she gets a clear impression with them. I stamp onto a stamp pad unless the stamps are those soft acrylic ones as they goe squidey otherwise. I would highly reccomend them to anyone who rubber staps and I often stamp straight onto my project as I know it will work with out any smudges etc. Love your card and thanks for the tip about the dental floss.

  11. Hiya Chrissie Popped over to say ATG guns if you want one are on sale price at 3M Select if you want one. The adhesive reels are too. Make sure you get the 12mm wide-much more useful. If you spend more than £10.00 you get free UK postage. You need adhesive transfer tape 908-12mmx55m £5.63.The ATG is £11.59. Add in VAT and it's still a good deal. There's a video on the site on how to refill them too.Hugs BettyXXX
