My Time to Craft - Vivid Greeting

I've been waiting to use this fabulous backing paper for ages. I printed it out a long time ago and was just waiting for an opportunity to use it. I've had it so long, I can't actually remember where I downloaded it from. I'd like to find out to print some more.
At My Time to Craft this week, the theme is Vivid Greetings. This paper is certainly vivid, and I feel made more so, by the addition of the cherry red accents.
As it is also dotty, it's perfect for the challenge at Penny Black. I love Penny Black stamps and this gorgeous one was part of my trawl when I went to the craft show at Farnborough a few months ago. In fact I'm now waiting for a new stamp to arrive from PB Stamps which I won on the Penny Black Challenge blog. How exciting is that! The choice of stamps on this website is truly amazing, and choosing was extremely difficult, I would have loved so many! SO watch this space for when my new stamp arrives... a slight clue, it has a musical connection!
The sentiment I used here is from Unity Stamps and the charm came from a mixed bag which I bought recently on eBay.

  1. Oh I love this one - you are right the paper is perfect for this card but I really like the image - I have it too but I haven't used it yet - I also have a paper I want to match it with, but the right challenge hasn't come along yet!

  7. Well done on winning the PB stamp - I know what you mean about the choice. I had a gift voucher for a US company that a friend sent me but in the end I went with Nesties and a MS punch as I thought they were the better value. That was after I had looked through all the PB stamps....
Lovely card, these colours really zing.
