MAWTT Cute Companion

I just learned how to do this knot today, it almost looks as though this little lady is saying 'Ta Daaah!' and pointing it out to you instead of spreading stars and hearts.
She is another of the Garden Fairies from Cuddly Buddly; they are so cute aren't they! It is from a digi download which contains both coloured images and B/W line drawings. This is the latter, which I coloured with Copics.
The sketch and theme of Cute Companions are from Moving Along With the Times. The papers are also Cuddly Buddly from Patchwork of Papers, Green.
If you would like to know how to do the knot there is a tutorial here, courtesy of Barbara at Paper Pursuits.

  1. Lovely card Chrissie, fab cute image and love the colouring. Your knot is fabulous - have you tried Japanese mizuhiki cord, it's perfect for these type of knots, I think you'd be brilliant with it.

Thanks for taking part in our challenge again this week at MAWTT.

    Hugs, Nicki

  8. another cutie Chrissie and love these papers. Great to embellish with the knot - I must ask hubby to teach me as he learnt all kinds of fancy knot work in the Navy and used to make the bell ropes, as well as dog leads and other odds and ends! I can just about manage a granny knot and the one with the rabbit going round the tree and down the hole .. ..!
