A card for my friend


Daring Cardmakers have a challenge inspired by the birthstone for February, the amethyst.
I have an amethyst ring which I bought for my mother many years ago, which she loved. This has reminded me to dig it out and wear it again!
This card is for a friend whom I worked with for many years. She was my right hand, right arm and everything else... she knew what I wanted before I did and was a constant source of inspiration to the children. It's for this reason that I'm entering this into the challenge from Crafty Creations entitled Friends. Paperplay challenges requires a card for someone special, this someone certainly is! Happy Birthday Lyn!

    Beautiful card Chrissie - lucky friend ;) Posting this just after 3am; one of those nights when I can't get to sleep, so just had some hot chocolate - it's supposed to help. Don't know if I'll manage to get up in time for tap dancing now though!
