Joy-Folded Card

After I had seen the instructions for this type of card on a tutorial on the Dutch Dare Blog, I decided to have a go for myself. The instructions were clear and simple to follow, otherwise I'm sure that I would have got into a pickle.
I bought these digi images from Whimsie Doodles yesterday and decided to try one out.
The papers are from Cuddly Buddly and the die cuts are Nesties. The heart embossing is from a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
It is for these challenges
Dutch Dare - Joy-Folded Card
Whimsie Doodles - Keep it Real (I used a gem instead of the heart tip of the arrow)
Digital Tuesday - Valentines
I really enjoyed making this one. The little oval embellishment is partly stuck down so that the centre part of the card can be tucked behind it to keep it closed.

Your cards are lovely - such an amazing bunch of card makers out there - I had no idea there was so much lovely stuff to work with until I followed a few links to blogs like yours. Not as much stress as infants teaching!
