Simple Card
Here is a simple card for 2 challenges. The Secret Crafter challenge is for orange plus one other colour. Here I chose brown to tone with the seasonal shade. This card made me think of conkers as I was making it!
Crafty Catz challenge is to have Buttons or brads. I decided on these tiny square brads, but rather than push them through the card, I did what I often do to help get them exactly where I want them, and that is to cut off the 'legs' and stick them on with sticky dots.
The image is from Hobby Art, coloured with Copics, sprinkled in the centre with Glamour Dust and mounted on Nesties. The orange background paper is embossed with Cuttlebug Random Dots. The ribbon was left over from my daughter's wedding invitations!

Another beautiful card Chrissie, the colours are wonderful and again the CAS style really makes the lovely stamped image come to life. Great idea with the brads, must remember that one. Chris x
ReplyDeleteLove this; these are fabulous fall colors & those brads just top it all off perfectly!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for you 2 recent comments; I had to laugh at your comment about "my" tea cards -- I do NOT own that stamp set; had borrowed Gwen's for awhile & then right after I gave it back, I finally got their DPs & commented to another friend that now I had them I no longer had the stamps, so she walked into her craft room and loaned her set to me! I didn't even know she had the set! Suppose I'll have to return it one day, sadly!!! ;-)
This is beautiful Chrissy, so rich.
ReplyDeleteYou do 'clean' cards so well, I totally love this look, not very good at it myself, always itching to add the extra something. This is gorgeous.
