A bunch of challenges



Sometimes I think I try a little too hard to combine challenges, maybe I should just let the spirit take me. Anyway for this card I have combined the challenges from 365 Cards, to use a semi-circle, the recipe from Dutch Dare and the colours from SPCC.
I found this colour combo particularly challenging and this was my second choice of image, however I think that this teddy from Cuddly Buddly works better than the trees which I originally chose.
The recipe from Dutch Dare is
2 colours of cardstock
2 pattern papers
2 flowers
2 brads
2 gems/buttons
The backing papers are Canon & Cuddly Buddly, the diecutting is Nesties and Cuttlebug, the border punch is Martha Stewart and the the sentiment is Stampin Up.
I am waiting for a delivery of Copics, 'til then I have just the skin tone selection from which I have used a few for the teddy. Lots of practice ahead I fear!

    aw he's so cute! and a great card with that colour combo - not easy! enjoy playing with your copics when they arrive - I'm still adding to my collection of ProMarkers but slowly getting there!

    Your stamped image is really cute, but what makes the card so special is the details of the trim, flowers, brads, and layering.
