Inspirational Card Sketches #28 Caardvarks Winter Wonderland ~ Pile it On - No patterned paper ~ Stamp With Us - Christmas

It always seems odd to me to be making Christmas cards in summer, but I guess I'm a bit of a last minute merchant and am always finishing things right up to the last moment.
I hope that this card fulfils the above four challenges.
The Pile it On challenge might be a little iffy, as they ask for no patterned paper. The white piece was an offcut from my envelope-making. I inked one side of the inner of a Cuttlebug embossing folder with Versamark, added the paper and ran it through the bug, then heat embossed the inked side of the paper with some Crystal Sparkle embossing powder. I did a similar process with the green, but used gold ink instead and didn't heat emboss afterwards. It didn't start out as patterned paper... honestly!
The other 3 challenges are fairly straightforward. The images are from Stampin Up and the sentiment is from Hero Arts.

  11. Very cool. I like the idea of inking the paper after you run it through the cuttle bug and then adding sparkle.
