Daring Cardmakers - Flip Flop

This is a first for me. I've never seen one of these cards before, but following a quick look at You Tube for instructions, here is my attempt!

The central section of this 'swing' card was cut with a Nestie Label in my Cuttlebug. The paper is Clare Curd's Signature range. I think the sentiment is Heidi Swapp (in an effort to save space I have thrown out lots of packaging from my equipment, and although that's fine for me it's not so good for people wanting to know what make of stamps etc I have used). The flourishes are from Artemio (I saved that bit) and the owl is from Unity Stamps KOM for June 2009.

  1. I’m glad that someone tried the ‘You Tube’ way because although I posted the link I hadn’t actually tried it myself……..Well done for braving it Chrissie!

Now, your card………I just love it!
The colours are fab and so is that cute little Owl but best of all I like the way the Nestie you used actually looks like an Owl when it’s folded too…..how clever!!

Thanks for joining us at the DCM’s this week

  5. great card Chrissie! I know what you mean about "refining the technique" - I'm trying to pluck up the courage to have another go and hoping that I can make another card without getting myself all tied up in knots like I did on my DCM one!

Love the colours you've used and the nesties die makes a great cut out
