365 Cards Days 123 & 124 Abc Challenge U & Mojo Monday
I had a tummy bug yesterday and stayed in bed all day feeling lousy. I'm happy to report that it was only a 24 hour malady and today I'm feeling much better. However, as no cards were attempted, I have a bit of catching up to do today.
This sketch from Mojo Monday I have used to combine with Day 124 of 365 Cards, where something should be computer generated. I word-processed the sentiment for this card, which reads, 'If friends were flowers... I'd pick you.' I just love this flowery stamp which was sent to me as a freebie with an order from an eBayer in the USA. How kind was that!!! I love it.
I have combined Day 123 0f 365 Cards with the ABC Challenge U for United States. I thought that it might do for a Bon Voyage card for any friends visiting the US or for friends over there as they celebrate the 4th July. The challenge was to use the sketch leaving the whole of the centre section completely as 'White space'. I quite like lots of white on cards so I was happy with the idea.
I downloaded the 'USA' font as I didn't have any suitable Americana!
I now really must get on with some Christening invitations and some 60th Birthday party invites & reply cards. Hey Ho!
Chrissie
You are amazing. The first card is sweet, simple, and elegant...totally what I love about Chrissie cards. The second card is brilliant! The white space sketch cards are not workin' my mojo until I saw YOURS. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteChrissie, lovin' both of your cards...your diy one is perfect...love the scallops and the buttons. The white space card is great...so timely with our US holiday :)
ReplyDeleteChrissie, loved the buttons!!
ReplyDeleteI love that little vase of flowers and perfect layering, Chrissie! Glad you are on the mend...it's just no fun to be sick in summer.

Chrissie, sorry to hear that you were not feeling well and thankfully it was only a 24 hour bug. Both cards are wonderful and the flowers in the vase are just too cute.
