Experimenting with Cuttlebug!
I don't know if the picture shows up the details very well, but I've been having an experiment with my Cuttlebug folders!
I put a piece of waxed paper through my textile (I think that is what it's called) embossing folder and then ironed it onto a piece of green card, protecting the iron with another sheet of paper. I then spritzed it with 2 colours of Perfect Pearls, gold and antique blue. I really rather like the effect and had fun doing it, although I feel that the card lacks something in the composition.
The flower was made with a Woodware embossing punch from some old photocopied manuscript and distressed with Tim Holz Old Paper distressing ink. The stamens are from a Splat punch. The leaves are Cuttlebug and the swirls, Quickutz.
Maybe if you click on the image and zoom in you may see some of the detail!
I would be interested to hear what you think!
Lovely card Chrissie, I love the muted colours and that flower looks amazing, very inventive! I couldn't zoom in on your piccie for some reason but it sounds as though you've put a lot of work into it and come up with something very original, well done! xx
ReplyDeleteWow are you being creative, or what! Looks super Chris, but unfortunately nothing happens when you click on pic to get a better view. Perhaps you can do something so we can see your great creation. Hope so because it looks real interesting and I have some Perfect Pearls in the cupboard that I have never used - and I should! xoxo ikki
