Just US Girls

This morning I spotted a photo inspiration over at Just US Girls and decided to give it a go to see if it might set my mojo into action once more!
The pictures on the wall made me think of the stamp set from Inkadinkadoo which I used to stamp the 4 squares. The flower is from a set from Altenew and I believe the sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.
I used my MISTI to try to place the stamps accurately and I must confess that without it, it would have been very difficult to stamp them accurately, especially the Altenew flower!
I find the overall effect quite pleasing. Maybe I'll make another card now!

Chevrons

At the CAS Challenge at Happy Little Stampers this time we have the theme of 'Chevrons'
Our winner for this challenge will receive a $20 coupon to spend at the shop! Check out all the details HERE.

IF YOU USE STAMPS BY HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS AND YOU ARE OUR RANDOM WINNER, YOUR PRIZE WILL BE DOUBLED!
Here I used stamps from Happy Little Stampers and an embossing folder from Design Objectives. I added a die cut stitched edge to tie in with the daisy flower design adding a little twinkle to the centre of the flower.

Happy Easter

Here is a dear little chick die from Poppy Stamps, I really love it and think that it is all that is needed for a sweet little Easter card. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted and the stitched square is from Simon Says Stamp.
I am entering it into the challenge at Addicted to CAS where the challenge is Birds!

I only have one bird but hopefully that will suffice!
We will be off on our travels again soon, this time to Vietnam and Cambodia another item on our bucket list!

Christmas is coming

Here is a card for the new CAS Christmas challenge, started by Loll.
As you can see the theme this time is Holly and I used a Tim Holtz stamp which I stamped in Versamark and clear embossed. I then inked it with some SU Bashful Blue ink using a sponge dauber, adding a little Iced Spruce distress ink in the centre of the holly sprays. Following this I cut the panel into tiles using a square die and then triple embossed each tile with clear embossing powder, adding a few gems for the berries.
These were mounted on a die cut and embossed panel.
I stamped the Hero Arts, Brushed Greetings sentiment using Iced Spruce Distress Ink, but it needed several goes to make a satisfactory image. Fortunately my MISTI ensured that each stamping was in exactly the same place. I quickly added a little clear embossing powder to this so that the finish would match that of the tiles.
It's also for the One Third challenge at AAA Cards
This seems an unusual colour choice for a Christmas card but I think it just about works.
